2022 Rudesheimer Berg Schlossberg Riesling

Sourced from nine different parcels, the 2022 Berg Schlossberg opens with a deep, pure and intensely mineral bouquet with notes of crushed stones and even iodine and a dash of lemon juice. Full-bodied, round and very elegant on the palate, this is an intense, silky textured and persistently saline Berg Schlossberg with delicate bitters on the finely structured and still discreetly astringent finish. It has stunning complexity and refined acidity with grapefruit bitters on the mineral finish. This 2022 has excellent aging potential. 11.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted at the domaine in September 2023.
