1999 Coteaux du Languedoc Pic St Loup Les Calcaires

Distinctly sauvage aromas of sandalwood, meat and leather. Moderately sweet but downright funky flavors of roasted berries, smoked meat and leather. Finishes with decent length and reasonably ripe tannins, but those who require their wines to be clean will want to give this bottle a pass.
