A blend of several vineyards, the 2019 Saint-Véran has a straightforward, citrus-scented bouquet with cooking apple scents coming through. The palate is well balanced, rounded in texture and a little peachy, conveying the southerly exposure and ripeness of the growing season. Very drinkable already.

Mix of four parcels. 2 ha in total. Mostly made in foudres. Lifted and rich but with (just) sufficient acidity. And a light touch of bitterness on the end. (JR)
