2019 Urziger Wurzgarten Auslese

The 2019 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese is clear and bright on the still-closed nose yet less complex compared to the Sonnenuhr (probably due to the recent bottling). The wine is clear and fresh, shows caramelized apple flavors, finely classy acidity and a a crystalline, elegant finish yet seems to be somehow reduced in its expression. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
