2020 Black Label Pinotage

The 2020 Pinotage Black Label, matured for 18 months in new French oak (Nevers), offers plenty of Dorset plum, blueberry and Clementines on the nose, the oak a little more tangible than the Paul Sauer but still simpatico with the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip. It’s a broad-shouldered Black Label with a sumptuous, plummy, menthol-tinged finish. Lingers long in the mouth. Classy.
