2019 Corralillo Winemaker's Blend

Biodynamic, certified by Demeter. From El Rosario vineyard. 45% Syrah, 35% Malbec, 20% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. Red and black fruit, lavender, game, a bit of a mocha chocolate earth character, medium-plus acid, quite rich with a bit of reduction. This is a very nice wine but with the wonder of Matetic's Pinot Noirs, Syrahs, incoming Grenache, and balanced Chardonnay, this wouldn't be my pick from them. (SCJ)
