The 2023 Saint-Joseph Silice, matured entirely in barrels (without new oak), is gourmand and perfumed, revealing aromas of black cherry and cassis. Medium-bodied, it’s juicy, round and fresh, with a delicate, highly aromatic profile. Fine, fresh tannins frame the palate, leading to a supple and approachable finish.

What can be considered the entry-level wine for this great producer, the 2023 Saint Joseph Silice sports a deep ruby/purple hue and offers black raspberries, peppery herbs, spice, leather, and dried flower notes on the nose. It's medium-bodied and has a supple, layered, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Drink this sexy, upfront, charming effort over the coming 7-8 years. Drink 2026-2034.

Medium-bodied, concentrated and structured, the 2023 is a noteworthy Silice from Jérôme Coursodon, clocking out with gentle persistence and spiciness on the complex dissolve.
