Note di degustazione
Bottled a month before my visit, the 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Bouquet Des Garrigues is deep ruby-hued and has a classic nose of peppery black cherries, leather, and garrigue. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced, it has ripe, juicy tannins and solid length.

A gourmand, fruity bouquet of spices, pepper, dark cherries and garrigue prefaces the 2022 Cotes du Rhone Le Bouquet des Garrigues, a medium-bodied, juicy and fresh wine with a long, delicate and ethereal finish. This blend of 80% Grenache Noir and the rest, a combination of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan, is an outstanding Côtes-du-Rhône.
A step up, the deep ruby-hued 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Le Bouquet Des Garrigues offers up a terrific, intense style in its black cherry, peppery garrigue, and spicy, complex aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, balanced, and elegant on the palate, it's another beautiful 2022 from this address that's well worth your time and money. The Vacheron Family, along with winemaker Bruno Gaspard, make some of the region’s finest wines. Located on the border of Châteauneuf du Pape, in the Courthezon region of the appellation, the estate covers 25 hectares, and they release a bevy of brilliant Châteauneuf du Pape as well as Côtes du Rhônes. While I thought the 2020s were slightly challenging here, it looks like the 2021s are rock-solid and as good as anything in the vintage, while the 2022s look to be a return to richer, more concentrated, powerful wines that hold onto a beautiful sense of balance and purity.
