Note di degustazione
Glass-staining ruby. An expansive bouquet evokes ripe red and blue fruits, smoky minerals and pungent flowers, along with suggestions of olive and allspice. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering appealingly sweet cherry and boysenberry flavors and building spiciness. The mineral note comes back strong on a very long and focused finish that's shaped by discreet tannins.

The 2019 Collines Rhodaniennes L'Ame Soeur comes from the Seyssuel region and is brilliant, if not the finest vintage I’ve tasted of this cuvée. Gorgeous black raspberry, ripe cherry, dried flowers, and some loamy earth nuances all emerge from the glass, and it’s medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a notable sense of purity and elegance, backed up by terrific overall balance.
Deeply perfumed cassis, boysenberry, licorice, smoky bacon and mineral scents show excellent detail and pick up a suave floral note with air. Densely packed and appealingly sweet, offering concentrated black/blue fruit, spicecake, cola and violet pastille flavors that show impressive energy for their heft. The floral note returns on the persistent finish, which features building tannins and a vibrant touch of smoky minerality. 50% whole clusters.
