Note di degustazione
The straw-yellow colored 2021 Nierestein Pettenthal GG shows a deep, pure and intense nose of ripe and concentrated Riesling berries intertwined with herbal and yeasty notes of crushed stones. Lush, intense and savory on the palate, this is a full-bodied and generous, vital and elegant Pettenthal with a tight yet playful, structure and a long, intense and complex finish. This is an impressive Riesling from this cru in which KG holds a homogeneous piece of 1.5 hectares in the Grosse Lage classified part. The finish is saline and stimulatingly piquant. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2022.

Even more fumy than the Hipping. Almost spritzy on the palate. Full of energy and leaping from the glass. Needs to settle down but has great potential. (JH)
Very youthful nose of toasted baguette, wild herbs and apricots. Very tightly wound on the sleek and highly-structured palate, you\'ll need plenty of patience to experience this at its glorious peak, but the combination of concentration and brilliance here is truly staggering. Mouthwatering salty minerality at the super-long finish. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2024.
Appealing floral spice underscored with rich fruity depths. Smoky, white fruit, hints of mango and jasmine, lemon. Taut, sleek and supple. A daunting grip and structure emerges on the eye-wateringly saline finish. Elegance and power. (PS)
