First bottle: Mid rust. Light, rather simple nose. Tight and taut on the palate. Mouthpuckering finish. Very tough tannins still. (Score 16, drink 2015-30) Second bottle: Mid rust. Quite different but not that much more impressive. A bit of decay on the nose of this. But very vigorous fruit on the palate. Just a bit drying still on the finish. Tastes as though there wasn't quite enough juice. Not 100% frank. (The score is for the second bottle.) (JR)
