Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. Ripe raspberry and lavender pastille scents, with a zesty mineral quality and a hint of white pepper lending vivacity. Juicy red and dark berry flavors are given lift and definition by a vibrant mineral accent. A very long, incisive finish is shaped by smooth, building tannins that flow easily with the wine's energetic fruit.

The 2014 Fleurie les Moriers has a wonderful, floral bouquet with wilted rose petals and violets infusing the pure red berry fruit that is well defined and gains intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, good weight in the mouth and a gradual build towards the red plum and cranberry finish. Harmonious and composed from start to finish, this is a very well crafted Fleurie from the domaine.
60-year-old vines. Granite soils. Gobelet pruning. Traditional vinification with whole bunches. Greyish garnet. Spicy dark-red fruit. Pure and fresh but not stalky (unripe) character. But on the palate it is a bit lean, giving a slightly dry, tart finish. (JH)
