Note di degustazione
The 2021 Vacqueyras Garrigues turned out to be a straight-laced and elegant red with red cherry, raspberry and leafy accents on the aromatic profile. Although it shows lovely freshness and energy, the moderate flavor concentration and short finish prevent me from scoring it higher.

The 2021 Vacqueyras Garrigues shows promising potential. Swirling the glass uncovers a delicate floral lift of rose petals and violets, ripe red fruits and a pinch of dill. Impeccably well-balanced and wrapped in smooth tannins, it finishes distinctively elegant.
The 2021 Vacqueyras Garrigues (70% Grenache and 30% Syrah) has lots of up-front charm and is impeccably made. Ripe cherries, leafy herbs, pepper, and some Provençal, spicy notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, lightly textured, and balanced. Drink bottles over the coming 5-7 years or so.
70% Grenache, 30% Syrah. Biodynamic. Aged in concrete vats for 18 months, then in bottles before release. Tank sample. Tasted blind. Ripe fruits with an attractive spice on the nose. The tannins are firm and chewy, medium-bodied with moderate acidity. Clean and quite light on the finish, lacking a little concentration. (AC)
