Issuing from bought grapes and wines, the 2022 Spring exhales a bright, lively bouquet of herbs, smoke and flowers, followed by a moderately weighted, incisive yet tensile palate with freshness that concludes with a saline, slightly bitter finish. Produced at 80,000 bottles, this is an easygoing, elegant Vouvray.

The 2022 Vouvray Spring is round and tender, with nicely handled phenolics adding attractive texture and providing drive. The acidity is gently fresh rather than racy. Approachable from the off, the Spring has floral aromas and notes of pear and apple, with a touch of flinty reduction. While it's dry, there's a sweetness of ripe fruit that tells you this was a warm vintage.
