2019 Arbois Pupillin Chardonnay

I previewed the 2019 Arbois Pupillin Chardonnay from barrique. It was cropped from a warm year with yields of 24 hectoliters per hectare. It's very clean with citrus sensations with clear notes of grapefruit and marked acidity. It has a medium-bodied palate and is still very undeveloped aromatically. It has good structure, but it's a lot less ready than the 2018 I tasted next to it, which was more advanced. This looks very promising, but I guess we might be years away from its release.
