Deep, shimmering magenta. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red and blue fruits, candied lavender, allspice and smoky minerals. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering finely detailed, spice-laced raspberry, boysenberry and floral pastille flavors that show good depth and seamless texture. Polished tannins add subtle grip to the impressively long and lively finish, which echoes the mineral and floral notes.

A particular success, the 2019 Fleurie Les Moriers soars from the glass with scents of mulberries, ponies, rose petals, licorice and spices. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, it's pretty and charming, with velvety tannins and lively acids. It's one of the finest young wines I've tasted at this address.
