Torrontés is very sensitive to staggered harvesting and this example from Cafayate was done in three stages. Straw yellow in color, the 2019 Torrontés Laborum offers aromas of grapefruit and orange blossom with lemon zest. Presenting a well-defined freshness in the mouth, it has a slightly metallic feel enhanced by the CO2.

Admirably light bottle. Pale. Slightly industrial nose. A racy, not that fruity, example. Quite elegant, if rather neutral in terms of flavour and a bit attenuated. (JR)
