2014 Saint Veran

(the first vintage for this bottling, from 1.5 hectares of mostly south-facing vines between 30 and 35 years of age; done mostly in foudres ): Slightly high-toned, spicy aromas of ripe apricot and tangy orange blossom; a bit exotic. In a sweet, distinctly fruit-driven style, offering immediate sex appeal. Delicious wine but hardly a typical Lafon style.
