2020 Ventoux Nature

Proprietor Sebastien Vincenti has been tinkering with a small bottling of natural wine for more than a decade now. The 2020 Ventoux Nature is 30% each Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, with 10% Mourvèdre, made in concrete tanks and eggs. This vintage was made without sulfite additions and bottled unfiltered after microbiological analysis showed it to be clean. It's vaguely floral and herbal on the nose, with red berry aromas that seem to manifest darker on the palate, more as black cherries and stone fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, silky-textured, soft, elegant and appealing.
