2013 Domaine de l'Aurage

Seems to be the current vintage in the UK. Looks more mature than the 2012, a little more brick in the colour. The sweetness on the nose is the combination of new oak and dark fruit. Dry and a bit lean on the palate but scented. Quite tannic but should come round with a little longer in bottle, even if it does not achieve the seductive quality of some of the other vintages. (JH)
