Note di degustazione
Gamay Noir with a splash of Chardonnay. From seven different parcels of vines facing east on the Mont Brouilly: Clos Bertrand, La Chapelle, Les Griottes, Godefroy, l’Héronde and Les Fournelles. 100% whole bunch, 15-day maceration and ageing in oak cask for seven months. Mid ruby. Strawberry, red cherry and damson on the nose. Medium-bodied palate with sweet, mature fruit. Ripe texture, with moderate tannins filling out the finish. Quite rounded and classic. (MH)

The 2022 Côte de Brouilly Les sept vignes comes from seven parcels owned by Château Thivin. Vivacious dark berry fruit mixes with subtle hints of melted dark chocolate on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins on the entry, but there is more precision than the Reverdon cuvée and a little more "bite" on the finish. It holds its cards close to its chest at the moment but may benefit from bottle age.
