1997 Pocas Vintage Port

Saturated deep ruby. Rather pinched grapey nose hints at shoe polish, mint and green apple; some off wood notes. A rather simple wine of modest depth and intensity. With its limited middle-palate material, the drying tannins cut off the fruit.
