2010 Akarua Pinot Noir

Deep ruby-purple in color, the 2010 Pinot Noir gives notes of warm red plums, kirsch and black raspberries with hints of allspice, tree bark and slightly burnt toast. Medium-full bodied and generously fruited in the mouth, it gives an abundance of ripe blackberry flavors with a medium level of fine-grained tannins, refreshing acid and a long spicy finish. Drink this one now to 2015+. Akarua does not currently have a USA importer.
