2020 Rauenthaler Nonnenberg Riesling

The 2020 Nonnenberg is clear, precise and coolish on the well-defined, concentrated and elegant nose that shows a coolish, pre-global warming bouquet. On the palate, this is a crystalline, linear and elegant dry Riesling with lots of energy and tension as well as a fine tannin and salinity complex. The salinity and grip are spectacular on the long and refreshing finish. If you are looking for the North in Rieslings from this warming era, the Nonnenberg is the one you should consider buying. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2022.
