Medium-to-full-bodied and opulent, it is a lush and pure wine that conquers the palate with wave after wave of sweet peaches. Extravagant aromas of ginger, apricot, orange peel and minerals, plus a faint carnal quality. Urgent fruit offers great verve and intensity; a very stylish VT-weight wine. Finishes with superb grip. This is clearly superior to the '97.
