This is closed at first, but gradually reveals bright but dark red fruit on the nose. There’s a delicious juiciness to the palate, which offers deeper, brambly fruit, with a chalky grip and vibrant acidity. Long and fresh, there’s a touch of grainy tannin on the finish at this youthful stage, balanced by the lift of violets.
