Note di degustazione
The 2003 Sancerre – Chavignol Les Culs de Beaujeu is excellent. Beeswax, almonds, and flowers can be discerned in this medium-bodied effort’s aromatics. Suave, satin-textured, and plump, it offers creamed nut, apple, and pear flavors that linger in its seamlessly pleasing finish. Drink it over the next year. Informazioni sul produttore

Sancerre’s leading producer, François Cotat is known for his idiosyncratic, age-worthy expressions of Sauvignon Blanc on Kimmeridgian soils, not to mention his prized rosé. Sometimes denied appellation status for their atypical style, these wines are some of the most collectable in the region.
