2006 Larose Red Blend

A Bordeaux blend of predominately Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2006 Larose offers a deep garnet color going a lt brick at the edge. Earthy, meaty gamey notes waft from the nose with hints of beef drippings, dried black berries and Chinese plums plus a whiff of leather. Drying out slightly in the mouth, it nonetheless has a good amount of interesting fruit remaining, finishing with slightly puckering tannins.
