Note di degustazione
Destemmed directly into open-top fermenters without pumping, with 20% retained as whole clusters. Ambient-yeast fermentation with a moderately long maceration on skins. Aged for 13 months in 25% new French oak. No fining or filtering. Aromas of sweet raspberries and cherries with alluring floral overtones. Bright cherry fruit melds with raspberry pastilles, as fine, almost fluffy tannins gently grasp the core of extremely pretty fruit. Excellent acidity and a long, floral, beautiful finish round out an exceptional mouthful. (AY)

The 2023 Cornish Point Pinot Noir is perfumed and intense, with dried garden roses, blood plum, redcurrant and licorice. In the mouth, the wine is elegant initially, and as the tannins gather momentum across the palate, it becomes an altogether more powerful experience. This is an impressive wine, as usual, shaped by a firm splay of tannin that feels supple, pliable and granular. 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
RS 0 g/l. Mid cherry red. Delicate, stemmy red fruits and refined herbal notes without greenness. Sweet and juicy on the palate, light-bodied, refined, dry and elegant on the finish. (JH)
