The 2022 Sancerre Demoiselle starts off pure and gentle, but then it's all tension and austerity on the finish. This is a wine that has elegance and a fine hand, but charming it isn't—that’s Pinot Noir on flint. It has a real identity, making it a wine lover's wine. The finish is long, scented with the fragrance of tea leaf, ripe damson fruit and festive spices.
