The 2022 Kirchberg GG is elegant, rich and lush on the nose, revealing fine spicy phenols. The quite creamy palate is clear, fresh and slightly sweet, then finishes spicy and with a slight astringency. Tasted at the Vorpremiere VDP.Grosses Gewächs in in Wiesbaden in August 2023.

Tank sample. AP number 06 23. Pungent and a light note of coconut! Lots of richness on the front palate – a real crowd pleaser. So much to explore in here. Lots of mineral notes. (JR)
Deep fruit on the peach-and-stone palate is pushed forward by a fantastic inner momentum. Delicate spice and stony, chalky grip. Stunning focus and silken balance with only the tiniest hints of baby fat on the completely irresistible cheeks. Textured, stony and long. (PS)
