Vines planted in 1965. Magnum. Dark blackish ruby. Just a little cheesy and rustic on the nose. And on the palate there’s a lack of real fruity core. I’m sure the grapes were wonderful but it tastes as though some of the flavour has been stewed out of them. Shame! Drying finish. (JR)
