2023 Riesling Trocken

The 2023 Riesling von Buhl is mostly from the Erste and Grosse Lagen in Deidesheim and Forst, with a small addition from Friedelsheim. Fine fragrance immediately suggests ripeness with its crushed chamomile and stone fruit scents, still with an appetizing streak of reduction. The palate is supremely juicy, bone-dry and vivid, almost zippy but not facile. This is beautifully balanced and so clean-cut, with notable bite for 2023. (Bone-dry)
