2018 Pouilly Fumé Florilege

Pabiot's 2018 Pouilly Fumé Florilège offers an intense, concentrated, fresh and slightly flinty/chalky bouquet with delicate sur-lie aromas. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, quite rich, warm and mouth-filling Pouilly with remarkably mild acidity and a round, lush and aromatic finish. The wine reflects the warmth of the vintage but is neither brandy nor bitter. The 2018 Florilège is a best-buy within the appellation. Tasted in February 2021.
