His mother used to play in this vineyard as a child. Darker than Dom Fourrier wines. He thinks because they are doing leaf pulling. A little severe and tough. Much less gentle than the Dom F wines. Dramatic essence. Wines slower to evolve because in cooler bit of the cellar. (JR)
