Note di degustazione
Good bright medium red. High-pitched, highly perfumed nose offers scents of raspberry, maraschino cherry, spices and rose petal. Densely packed, juicy and youthfully imploded, with rare verve for this very ripe year. A real spice bomb in the mouth. The explosive finish offers outstanding aromatic persistence. Plenty in reserve here for aging; in fact, I wouldn't go near this wine for at least another five or six years. Quite fine.

Mid crimson. Soft and sweet and easy. Rosy, easy, with lots of freshness. Pretty wine. Very charming with some good structure. Very lively. (JR)
Good deep red. Primary yet perfumed aromas of black cherry, mint, licorice and violet. Juicy, intense and tactile; this really saturates the palate with black raspberry and bitter chocolate flavor. A seriously structured, very long 2009 with a finishing note of bitter chocolate.
Mid crimson. Vines 55-year-old average with some at 80 years. Big step up on the nose – very rich and complex. Lots going on there. Very young sand starting to hit out. But this should be great and shows great long-term potential. Hooray! Real concentration and wonderful length – most impressive. (JR)
