2020 Bernkasteler Doctor Spatlese

The 2020 Berncasteler Doctor Riesling Spätlese is another very clear and very reductive, pure and fresh Doctor from Thanisch. Flinty notes intertwined with elegant and clear fruit open to a dense and piquant, well-structured and persistently salty Spätlese that is still pretty closed and rather lean. Definitely a wine to age for a decade and more. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 26 21 in November 2021.
