The 2012 Brut Rosé Emotion is heady, exotic and so alluring. Rose petal, spice, cinnamon, mint, crushed raspberry and white pepper all soar out of the glass. The Emotion is everything a top Rosé should be; aromatic, deep and pure sensuality. Vilmart fans won't want to miss it. The 2012 is a blend of 60% Pinot and 40% Chardonnay. Disgorged: March, 2018.

The 2012 Brut Rosé Emotion (formerly Grand Cellier Rubis) is a total stunner. All of the richness and radiance of the year comes through in a Champagne that offers an uncommon marriage of elegance and power. In the glass, the 2012 is rich and deep, with a real sense of vertical intensity. It is far from an easygoing, aperitif-style wine. The Emotion is a powerful Rosé that will offer its finest drinking at the dinner table. It is a blend of 60% saignée Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. I loved it. Disgorged: January, 2018.
Disgorged in January 2018, Vilmart's new 2012 Brut Emotion is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of orange oil, red berries, yellow plums and toasted almonds. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's racy and incisive, with chalky structuring extract and a pillowy mousse, concluding with a penetrating finish. It's a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from 45-year-old vines, vinified in barrels for 10 months without malolactic fermentation.
