Boasting 98 grams of residual sugar per liter, the 2000 Riesling Schlossberg Vendanges Tardives displays chamomile tea, floral, and mineral-laced aromas. Medium to full-bodied, this fat wine has Selection de Grains Nobles levels of richness. It is loaded with super-ripe jellied pears and apples. Projected maturity: Now-2014. According to Laurence Faller, this highly regarded estate's winemaker, "unquestionably 2000 must be considered one of the finest vintages of the last decade.
