Note di degustazione
Full red. Restrained, pure aromas of red fruits, menthol, oak and dried rose. Dense and ripe but tightly wound, even a bit youthfully pinched today, with some edgy acids. Notes of currant, meat, leather and pepper. Grew sweeter with aeration, suggesting that it will improve with bottle aging.

Superior to its 2000 counterpart, the 2001 Crozes-Hermitage Thalabert’s dark plum color is followed by a spicy, green nose of tapenade/olives and peppery black currant and cherry fruit. Medium-bodied, rich, and long, it will be at its finest between 2004-2012. Importer: Frederick Wildman, New York, NY; tel. (212) 355-0700
Good full ruby-red color. Superripe aromas of currant, mocha, smoke, spices and beeswax, with a suggestion of roasted meat. Then fat and sweet but with an intrusive tart edge. Finishes with good length and firm but fine tannins. The slight tartness repeats on the end.
