2013 St Joseph Les Serines

Bright purple. Candied blackberry, boysenberry and pungent flowers on the seductively perfumed nose, enlivened by a smoky mineral nuance. Fresh and energetic on the palate; appealingly sweet dark fruit and violet pastille flavors show excellent clarity and thrust. Becomes spicier and more lively with air and finishes extremely long, sweet and gently tannic, leaving behind exotic floral and Indian spice notes.
