Punteggio 17.5/20 · Da bere 2025-2034, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, Jan 2025

Estate-grown, 1969-planted Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. 40% new oak. Full house of fruit, foyer spilling out into the street and long, long tannins pencilled in like an artist's sketch. Real arc. Blackberry, black mulberry, smoke and smoky dark spices. Graphite grooved deep and inky. Such a juicy finish. With a wine like this, Sarah Crowe shows she knows how to walk the fine line between gothic and darkly sensuous. (TC)

Punteggio 96/100 · James Suckling, Aug 2021

The nose speaks to cabernet, with aromas of leaves and fresh herbs, red fruit and blueberries, as well as some forest wood. The palate is concentrated and delivers the same mix of red and blue fruit with a double-act of focus and power. More medium-bodied than full. A blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec and petit verdot. Drink over the next decade or more. Screw cap.
