Note di degustazione
Notes of blackberries, blueberries, violets, charcoal and smoked meat on the nose. Itâs full-bodied with chewy tannins. Juicy and plush with inky, smoky character. Flavorful finish with good length. Drink or hold.

Another killer wine, the 2019 Saint-Joseph Vieilles Vignes reveals a dense purple color to go with loads of red and blue fruits, bacon fat, cured meat, and spring flowers. Offering classic Saint-Joseph minerality, medium to full-bodied richness, and plenty of both acidity and tannins, it's going to shine for 15 years or more.
30- and 40-year-old 85% Marsanne and 15% Roussanne vines in Les Oliviers sur Mauves, La Ribaudy sur Chavanay, La Roue sur St-Jean de Muzols aged for 10 months in new, one- and two-year-old barrels. Clear greenish gold. Rich lanolin nose with satin-textured fruit that really spreads itself across the palate but it could do with a little more tension. Big and bold – to be enjoyed sooner rather than later. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt that it will mature into something more complex. (JR)
