Extremely light toast. Delicately scented red fruit. Paper-fine texture, on the dry side but not drying. Delicate and fine boned but persists well. (JH)

Very dark crimson (much more so than the Charmotte). Dense and extracted but with lots going on in there for the price. I think this will come round but it’s pretty embryonic at the moment. Very slightly brutal. (JR)
