2020 Gran Malbec X

The 2020 Gran Malbec X comes from Los Arboles in the Uco Valley and was aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak barrels. Dark purple in hue. The nose presents enticing aromas of mountain herbs, ripe plums and hints of sun-kissed grapes against an oaky backdrop. The palate is indulgent, with an almost juicy character. The finely-grained, reactive tannins and plush texture create a velvety mouthfeel that delivers plenty of lasting ripe fruit flavor. This wine is a well-executed take on a warm year.
