2022 Les Cruzelles

Stunning purple in colour, the nose of the 2022 Les Cruzelles is elegant and fresh, with blackberry, dark cherry and plums – and a hint of nutty complexity. The palate is linear and pure, with precise tannins and fresh acidity that builds towards an explosive finish of red berries and an earthy, bitter note that makes the palate moreish. Well put together and refreshing, this is excellent value. Give it five or six years in the cellar to open up. Blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, aged in 50% new oak
