Opaque ruby. Vibrant scents of fresh dark berries, candied flowers, licorice and allspice on the highly fragrant nose. Sappy, penetrating and seamless in texture, offering sweet black raspberry, cherry compote and spicecake flavors that show excellent delineation and mineral lift. Expressive and quite elegant for the year; silky tannins build slowly on a very long, floral-dominated finish.
