Slightly pale rim, rather indistinct nose at this stage and pronounced tannins. Definitely slightly stringy and awkward on the finish. (JR)

Dark blueish crimson. Simple and raw. Rather furry, overblown nose. Then quite green notes on the palate and marked astringency. A hole in the middle. (JR)
