Bright ruby-red. Cassis, raspberry, raw burger, mocha, mace and nutmeg on the nose. Supple and dense, with youthfully monolithic flavors of cassis, plum and mint. Slightly syrupy texture framed by an edge of acidity and substantial dusty tannins. Could use a tad more verve.
