Can a second wine (of the famous Chateau Lafleur) be this delicious? The unbelievable length to which the proprietors go in order to eliminate anything less than sublime from their grand vin is evidenced by this 1989 from Lafleur. Amazingly rich, with incredibly deep, dense, cassis, mineral, and exotic flavors, this full-bodied, well-structured, highly concentrated wine should continue to evolve for at least two decades. Anticipated maturity: 1995-2010.
